Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on an 18-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The unit includes antepartum, labor, and triage rooms, uses Epic charting, and serves a high-risk pregnancy population.

• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Provide care for antepartum and labor patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries
• Circulate during cesarean births
• Perform sterile vaginal exams as appropriate
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• California Registered Nurse license
• Two years of labor and delivery experience
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
• Epic charting experience
• High-risk antepartum, vaginal delivery, sterile vaginal exam, and cesarean birth circulation skills
• Community hospital and prior travel experience

• Cesarean birth scrubbing
• Teaching hospital experience
