About this job

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for maternity patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lancaster, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess maternal and fetal status and plan care
  • Administer medications and perform treatments safely
  • Educate patients and families through admission and discharge
  • Document nursing care accurately and concisely
  • Communicate changes in condition to physicians
  • Support co-workers and direct nursing assistants in assigned care

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • Associate degree in nursing
  • BLS/CPR, PALS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certificates
  • 2 years of registered nursing experience

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
