About this job

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide direct care for laboring and postpartum patients in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit, supporting safe, coordinated care during an 8-week contract in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maternal and newborn assessments and reassessments
  • Monitor labor progress, pain, and patient response
  • Administer medications safely and follow the five rights
  • Assist with labor and delivery procedures and technical skills
  • Educate patients and families on care and recovery
  • Document care accurately and communicate with the team
  • Maintain a safe environment and support interdisciplinary care

Qualifications

  • Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NRP certification
