Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. Epic charting is used in a critical access hospital with Level IV trauma designation, and first-time travelers are welcome in this island setting.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor
• Administer medications and support pain management
• Assist with deliveries and immediate newborn care
• Perform postpartum assessments and recovery support
• Respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the care team on individualized plans

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Strong labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing skills
