Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support mothers and newborns in an acute care medical center on a 26-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The setting uses Epic, serves acute care, long-term care, and outpatient patients, is a Level IV trauma critical access hospital, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care
• Monitor maternal and newborn status
• Assist with deliveries and recovery
• Support postpartum and newborn assessments
• Document care in Epic
• Collaborate with the obstetric care team

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Maternal and newborn assessment skills
