Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in West Columbia, SC

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with image-guided procedures in a hospital on a 13-week contract in West Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in 3 IR suites, performs about 25 visits per day, and uses Philips and Sonosite ultrasound equipment. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the interventional suite for vascular and nonvascular cases
• Assist with stroke thrombectomy, embolization, and other image-guided procedures
• Support arterial and venous access using ultrasound and fluoroscopic equipment
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient handling during complex cases
• Collaborate with rapid response, respiratory, pharmacy, and interpretation teams
• Document procedure support and help keep patient flow moving in a high-volume unit

• ARRT(R) and RT(R) credentials
• Current BLS
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Philips equipment experience
• Sterile technique, PPE, and rapid response/code team support

• ACLS
• VI credential
• Endovascular and vascular intervention experience
• Dialysis access, port placement, TIPS, and thrombectomy experience
