Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Fort Pierce, FL

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support special procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fort Pierce, Florida. The unit has 3 rooms, 1:1 patient coverage, and uses Meditech and MacLab. GE and Philips rooms support the work.

• Assist with cardiac cath, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons and ENT procedures
• Scrub and support interventional cases in the special procedures setting
• Prepare rooms, supplies and imaging equipment for each case
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety during procedures
• Collaborate with RN and physician teams in a fast-paced unit
• Document case details in the charting system

• ARRT certification for technologists
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of recent acute care interventional radiology or special procedures experience
• Competence with Special Procedures and GE Innova

• RCIS certification
