Travel Interventional Radiology RN in South Carolina

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support vascular interventional procedures in a teaching, Magnet, Level 1 trauma hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, has 5 rooms, and averages 30 visits per day.

• Prepare patients for vascular interventional procedures
• Monitor patients during moderate sedation and recovery
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Assess vital signs, access sites, and procedural response
• Document care and patient status in Epic
• Coordinate care with supporting clinical services

• Active South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing experience
• Moderate sedation experience
• Interventional cardiac cath lab experience
• Epic charting experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Pediatric and adult vascular IR experience
• Circulating for interventional procedures
