Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support the radiology department in an acute care hospital during a 13-week contract in Torrance, California, caring for adolescents through geriatrics and using Cerner. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Support radiology patients across adolescent, adult, pediatric and geriatric age groups
• Start and maintain IV access and manage ports and PICC lines
• Monitor conscious sedation and end-tidal CO2
• Assist with medication administration and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Follow radiation safety and Universal Protocol standards
• Document patient care and coordinate with the radiology team

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and PALS
• One year of radiology experience or ICU or ER experience with radiology exposure
• Critical care experience
• Strong IV placement and access management skills

• Cerner charting experience
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis exposure
• Community hospital experience
