Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Port Charlotte, FL

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support procedures and patient care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Port Charlotte, Florida. The unit has a 1:1 variable ratio, uses Meditech, and works with GE Bi-plane equipment.

• Carry out physician orders and support interventional radiology procedures
• Administer medications and maintain intravenous access
• Complete initial assessments and plan of care updates
• Review lab results and medical history before procedures
• Monitor patient safety and comfort before, during, and after care
• Educate patients and families on procedures and follow-up instructions
• Assist as circulator or scrub support when needed

• Florida Registered Nurse license or compact license
• BLS certification
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS Stroke Education Certification and 1 year of critical care, ICU, or ER experience

• Interventional radiology hospital experience
• Meditech experience
