Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support imaging procedures in an acute care hospital interventional radiology unit on a 14-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. Epic charting is used, and the role supports pre and post procedure care with moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status
• Assist with moderate sedation and recovery care
• Support cardiac and peripheral procedures
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians and imaging staff

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license or eligibility
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• One year of current Surgical Cardiology, Critical Care or PACU experience
• ACLS, BLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Epic charting experience
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG competency

• Moderate sedation and pre/post procedure care experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• Cardiac and peripheral procedure experience
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program
