Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support patients undergoing image-guided procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit uses Epic and focuses on procedural imaging care.

• Prepare patients for imaging-guided procedures
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes during and after procedures
• Assist the team with sterile technique and procedural setup
• Support medication administration and sedation monitoring as directed
• Coordinate patient flow, handoff, and recovery care
• Educate patients and families about procedural expectations and aftercare

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong IV access and patient assessment skills
