Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Columbia, MO

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will provide procedural and sedation support in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Columbia, Missouri. The unit manages invasive and non-invasive imaging-guided procedures, including stroke intervention, with a 1:1 ratio during procedural sedation.

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and watch for complications
• Prepare patients for invasive and non-invasive imaging-guided procedures
• Provide procedural sedation support and follow radiation safety practices
• Assist with IV insertion, PICC and central line management, and vascular device care
• Support neurovascular stroke interventions and other interventional radiology procedures
• Communicate patient needs and concerns with radiologists and team members
• Circulate in procedural areas when needed

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS/BCLS certification
• 2 years experience
• IV insertion, PICC and central line management, vascular device access and care
• Tele interpretation, cardioversion and defibrillation
• Procedural sedation, circulation in procedural areas

• Neuro experience
• CVP
• Sheath removal
