Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Decatur, TX

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will support patients during interventional radiology care in a radiology special procedures unit on a 13-week contract in Decatur, Texas. The unit has 4 beds, 1 procedure room, and uses Meditech. The team includes 2 RNs, 1 IR tech, and a radiologist.

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with moderate sedation and patient monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures
• Support paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placement, and perm cath placement
• Document care and procedure details in Meditech
• Collaborate with the radiologist and IR tech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Moderate sedation experience
• Moderate sedation certification after start

• Interventional Radiology experience
