Travel Intermediate Care RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in an acute care hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on a 12-week contract. The step-down unit serves intermediate medical patients with high-risk respiratory and cardiac thoracic needs, including support for room air, BIPAP, and Optiflow. Patients include cardiac thoracic, hepatobiliary, and head and neck surgical cases.

• Monitor intermediate care patients with respiratory and cardiac needs
• Assess changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and maintain treatment plans
• Support noninvasive oxygen and respiratory therapies
• Coordinate care with the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 years of recent intermediate care experience
• Strong step-down and respiratory assessment skills

• NIHSS certification
• Experience with thoracic, hepatobiliary, or head and neck surgical patients
