Travel ICU RN in Westminster, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults in a long-term acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Westminster, California. The unit cares for patients with cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, traumatic and other severe conditions and uses ventilators and monitoring equipment.

• Assess and plan care for critically ill adults
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Assist with airway management, suctioning and ventilator care
• Collaborate with physicians and the critical care team
• Respond to life-threatening changes and support patients and families

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care nursing skills, including ventilator and infusion management
