Travel ICU RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The unit cares for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, averages 10 patients daily, and uses Epic charting. Lifts are available in patient rooms.

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and neurologic conditions
• Assist with chest tube insertion and removal
• Manage ventilated patients and support airway care
• Support CRRT and other advanced critical care therapies
• Respond to invasive monitoring changes and coordinate timely interventions
• Collaborate with rapid response, respiratory therapy, and other team members

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios
• Ventilated patient care
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions

• Epic charting system experience
• CVICU experience
• Neuro critical care experience
• Experience with ICP monitoring, post craniotomy care, or traumatic brain injury
