Travel ICU RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 36 beds, typical ratios of 1:3 to 1:5, and uses Meditech charting. It is a level 2 trauma center with stroke and STEMI accreditation.

• Perform advanced critical care assessments
• Manage vasoactive drips
• Support BiPAP and high-flow therapy
• Assist with central line and PICC line placement
• Assist with chest tube placement
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Vasoactive drip management skills
