Travel ICU RN in Alexander City, AL

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care support in an intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Alexander City, Alabama. The unit uses Meditech Expanse and cares for patients needing ventilator support, drip management, IABP, and post cardiac cath care.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changing conditions
• Assist with ventilator management and hemodynamic support
• Manage titrated drips and other critical care infusions
• Support care for patients with IABP
• Provide post cardiac cath care
• Document assessments and coordinate care in the EMR

• Alabama or Compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• ICU experience with ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post cardiac cath care

• Balloon pump experience
• Previous travel experience
