Travel Float RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for respiratory and oncology medical-surgical patients on an acute care hospital unit in Los Angeles, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents through geriatrics, uses Allscripts charting, and typically maintains 1:4 staffing.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
• Provide care for respiratory and oncology med-surg patients
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and ordered IV therapies
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, oxygen devices, and noninvasive airway support
• Care for central lines, PICCs, ports, and peripheral IV access
• Support rapid response and recover post cardiac and orthopedic patients

• California Registered Nurse license
• 3 years of Med Tele experience in the United States
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Telemetry rhythm strip interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• EKG competency
• Experience with chemotherapy, ventilator, tracheostomy, and central line care

• Allscripts charting system experience
