A Travel Neurology Registered Nurse will provide nursing care on a neurology unit in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor neurologic status closely
Administer medications and ordered treatments
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
Prepare patients for diagnostic studies and procedures
Document assessments, interventions, and responses
Educate patients and families on care plans
Support safe discharges and handoffs

Qualifications

Iowa Registered Nurse license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Strong neurologic assessment and critical thinking skills
