Travel First Assist Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel First Assist Tech Certified Surgical First Assist will assist the primary surgeon during surgical procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The role supports exposure, hemostasis, tying or sewing, and other intraoperative tasks while working with the operating room team.

• Assist the primary surgeon during procedures
• Provide exposure and hemostasis
• Support tying, sewing, and wound closure
• Maintain a safe sterile operating room environment
• Collaborate with the operating room team
• Perform routine assigned clinical tasks

• Certified Surgical First Assist credential
• Operating room surgical assisting experience
• Strong sterile technique and patient safety skills
• Ability to work effectively with surgeons and perioperative staff
