Travel First Assist RN in Orange, CA

A Travel Registered Nurse First Assist will support surgical care in the operating room of an acute care hospital in Orange, California on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and supports robotics, transplant, cardiovascular, and other specialty cases.

• Assist as first assist during surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for assigned cases
• Support robotic and laparoscopic procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical counts
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the operative field
• Collaborate on transplant and cardiovascular cases

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assist certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of first assist experience
• Scrub and circulating operating room experience
• Transplant and cardiovascular case experience
