Travel EMT / ER Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Emergency Medical Technician will support patient care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, typically staffs 4:1, and cares for medical and behavioral patients. It serves a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke setting.

• Support patient assessments, vital signs, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist with telemetry monitoring and recognition of rhythm changes
• Help with triage, patient flow, and room readiness
• Provide safe transport, comfort measures, and basic bedside support
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Promote respectful, patient-centered service in a fast-paced emergency department

• Emergency Medical Technician credential
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• 2 years of emergency department experience in a high-volume trauma setting
• 1 year of emergency room experience
• Ability to read telemetry monitors

• Prior experience in a high-volume emergency department
