Travel Electrophysiology Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Electrophysiology Tech will support electrophysiology procedures in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic, and the setting is a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital with cardiac cath, interventional radiology, and device implant work.

• Prepare the EP lab and equipment for studies and interventions
• Assist with electrophysiology evaluations, mapping, conduction studies, and arrhythmia induction
• Support ablations, cardioversions, and structural heart device cases
• Monitor rhythms, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and obtain baseline measurements
• Maintain sterile technique and scrub support during procedures
• Set up and program implantable devices and temporary pacing support

• BLS
• ACLS
• 2 years of electrophysiology experience
• Accurate monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
• Experience with electrophysiology studies, ablation, mapping, cardioversion, and device work

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience
• Interventional radiology and neurointervention exposure
• Hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
• Structural heart and vascular intervention exposure
