Travel Electrophysiology Lab RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse will support electrophysiology procedures in a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit has 5 rooms and an average daily census of 12. Epic is used for charting.

• Assist with electrophysiology procedures and related device work
• Monitor patients during sedation and invasive cardiac procedures
• Circulate and support ablations, cardioversion, and closure procedures
• Prepare and maintain IV access, medications, and monitoring equipment
• Perform sheath removal and post-procedure observation
• Document care and rhythm changes in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• 2 years of electrophysiology lab experience
• Epic charting experience
• Procedural sedation, arrhythmia management, and device procedure skills

• PALS certification
• Pre- and post-procedure care experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
