Travel Electrophysiology Lab RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse will prep and recover cath lab and EP lab patients in a hospital procedural pre/post unit during a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and has 3-4:1 pre/post and 1:1 intraprocedural ratios across 24 beds. The hospital is a Magnet-designated comprehensive stroke center and Level II trauma center.

• Prepare patients for cath lab and EP lab procedures
• Recover patients after invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor telemetry, hemodynamics and access sites
• Support invasive cardiac, vascular, IR and ultrasound cases
• Provide pre and post procedure care for cardiac and vascular patients
• Collaborate with the procedural team to maintain safe patient flow

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• ICU or emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Cardiac, vascular and procedural recovery skills

• Previous IR experience
• Moderate sedation experience
