Travel EEG Tech in South Carolina

A Travel EEG Technologist will support inpatient EEG monitoring and bedside studies in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adult and pediatric ICU and EMU patients and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor live EEG studies and report concerns promptly
• Perform electrode placement, head measurements and setup for routine and long-term monitoring
• Assist with portable recording, sleep EEG and sleep-deprived EEG studies
• Maintain wires, leads and skin integrity during monitoring
• Support EMU activations, continuous EEG and bedside neurodiagnostic procedures
• Document studies and findings accurately in Epic

• Registered EEG Technologist credential
• 2 years of EEG experience in adult ICU, EMU, pediatric ICU and EMU
• Experience with electrode placement, long-term monitoring, portable recording and sleep EEG

• CLTM certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Ambulatory EEG, ED and NICU experience
• Teaching or community hospital experience
