Per Diem EEG Tech in West Hollywood, CA

A Per Diem EEG Technologist will support diagnostic monitoring in a diagnostic neurology unit in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and uses Epic for charting.

• Perform EEG recordings and long-term monitoring across age groups
• Apply and remove electrodes and prepare patients for studies
• Monitor tracing quality and troubleshoot routine technical issues
• Assist with ICU, emergency department, NICU, and PICU studies
• Document results and communicate findings to the care team
• Support diagnostic procedures in the neurology unit

• ABRET certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of recent EEG experience
• NICU and PICU experience
• Adult ICU and emergency department experience
• Electrode placement and long-term monitoring experience

• Ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG, and sleep-deprived EEG
• Evoked potential studies and brain death testing
• Natus and Nihon Kohden experience; teaching or trauma center experience
