Per Diem EEG Tech in West Hollywood, CA

A Per Diem EEG Tech Electroencephalographic Technologist will provide diagnostic monitoring in a neurology unit in West Hollywood, California. The unit cares for neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic. EEG electrode placement and long term monitoring are part of the work.

• Place electrodes and prepare patients for EEG studies
• Perform routine and long term video monitoring
• Record tracing data and update documentation in Epic
• Support neurodiagnostic studies for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients
• Monitor tracings for changes and report concerns promptly
• Assist with inpatient and outpatient EEG coverage

• ABRET certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of recent EEG experience
• NICU, PICU, adult ICU, emergency department, inpatient and outpatient EEG experience
• Electrode placement and long term monitoring experience

• Ambulatory EEG and sleep study experience
• Evoked potential and SSEP experience
• Natus and Nihon Kohden experience
• Teaching, community and trauma level I or II experience
