Travel EEG Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel EEG Tech will support diagnostic neuro testing in an acute care hospital in Eureka, California, on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, averages 3-4 patients daily, and uses Epic charting.

• Place electrodes and prepare patients
• Perform ambulatory, sleep, and sleep-deprived EEG studies
• Assist with auditory evoked potential and SSEP testing
• Operate and calibrate recording equipment
• Document study data in Epic
• Support portable neurodiagnostic recordings for all ages

• BLS certification
• 1 year of EEG experience
• Adult ICU, inpatient, and outpatient EEG experience
• Ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG, sleep-deprived EEG, and portable recording experience
• Auditory evoked potential, brain death, electrode placement, and SSEP experience
• Epic charting experience

• Long-term video monitoring experience
• Motor evoked potential experience
• Visual evoked potential experience
