About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Winchester, Massachusetts. The unit uses Epic in a Magnet-designated hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and prioritize emergency care
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor patient status and response to therapy
  • Perform emergency nursing interventions
  • Communicate changes in condition to the care team
  • Provide patient education and discharge instructions
  • Document care accurately and completely

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior continuing education
  • Epic experience
  • Associate degree in Nursing
