Travel ED RN in Thomasville, GA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 24-bed level III trauma hospital unit with a 4 recliner flex area in Thomasville, Georgia on a 13-week contract. The unit treats patients from neonates to geriatrics, sees about 120 visits a day, and uses PICIS and Soarian Clinicals.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care by acuity
• Perform triage and initiate rapid interventions
• Start IV access and monitor telemetry
• Support ventilated patients and prepare for procedural sedation
• Assist with trauma, chest tube, central line, and I&D set-up
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• 3 years recent emergency department experience
• Prior travel experience
• Ventilator care, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation monitoring, and triage skills
