Travel ED RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The unit uses Meditech and patient ratios vary.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor patient status and respond to acute changes
• Administer ordered medications and treatments
• Assist with resuscitation, stabilization and emergency procedures
• Coordinate care with providers and clinical team members
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up

• Active compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS or ENPC certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience in a hospital setting

• Free-standing emergency department experience
• CEN, CPEN or TCRN certification
