Travel ED RN in Orange, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a very high-volume, non-trauma emergency department in Orange, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with cardiac, STEMI, stroke, and behavioral health needs.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients across all age groups
• Triage high-acuity cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health cases
• Start IVs, obtain ECGs, draw blood, and give ordered medications
• Monitor dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and blood product infusions
• Assist with airway support, central line care, and chest tube management
• Support seizure care, psych safety, and rapid response needs

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Current emergency department experience within the last year
• ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, and PALS

• Epic charting system experience
• Triage and pediatric emergency department experience
• Trauma center experience, including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputation care
• Procedural sedation, splinting, and arterial line management
