Travel ED RN in Mission Hills, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Mission Hills, California on a 13-week contract. The unit handles level 2 trauma, pediatrics, and high-acuity emergency cases, with 250-340 visits a day and Epic charting.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care for trauma, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac complaints
• Stabilize pediatric and adult patients during acute medical and behavioral health events
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Assist with intubation support, chest tube care, and procedural sedation
• Monitor dysrhythmias, obtain ECGs, and support cardiac care
• Start and maintain IV access and perform bedside assessments

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Los Angeles City Fire Card

• Arterial line management
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• Trauma, stroke, and STEMI care
