Travel ED RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The unit uses Epic and Omnicell and serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. It averages 130 patients daily across 44 beds.

• Triage and assess emergency patients across the lifespan
• Stabilize patients with medical, trauma and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications, IV therapies and emergency treatments
• Monitor cardiac, neurologic and respiratory status
• Assist with airway support and urgent procedures
• Document care accurately in Epic
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology and rapid response teams

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Intubation skill
• Combined adult and pediatric emergency department experience

• TNCC certification
• Trauma, stroke and STEMI experience
• Behavioral health and violence-management experience
• Ventilatory support and emergency procedure experience
