Travel ED RN in Kailua, HI

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care and assist with urgent procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kailua, Hawaii. The unit uses Cerner, includes fast track and behavioral health spaces, and has 24-hour pharmacy and phlebotomy support.

• Assess and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assist with moderate sedation and advanced airway care
• Support thoracentesis, paracentesis, laceration repair, and splinting
• Perform ultrasound-guided IV access and vascular access tasks
• Monitor patients during resuscitation and procedural care
• Coordinate with emergency physicians and unit support services

• Hawaii Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department nursing skills
