Travel ED RN in Highlands, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Highlands, North Carolina. The 7-bed unit uses Cerner and follows ENA patient ratios.

• Assess and prioritize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Initiate emergency interventions and monitor patient response
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Support stabilization and resuscitation efforts with the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner
• Communicate with providers, patients, and families throughout care
• Coordinate discharge teaching and patient flow in the emergency room

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

• TNCC, ENPC, or NRP certification
• CEN, CPEN, or CTRN certification
