Travel ED RN in Franklin, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Franklin, North Carolina. The unit typically manages 4:1 ratios, with up to 7:1 for behavioral holds, and uses Cerner. The department serves a diverse community and values teamwork.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Provide care for medical patients and behavioral holds
• Assist with bedside procedures and emergency interventions
• Coordinate with techs, clerks, and the care team
• Maintain clear patient updates and communication

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency department
• Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high-volume emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Core emergency nursing skills, teamwork, and real-time coaching ability
