Travel ED RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in an acute care hospital emergency room unit on a 14-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The role calls for rapid assessment, stabilization, monitoring, and close teamwork in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency room unit
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment
• Administer medications and start IV therapy as needed
• Support rapid stabilization and emergency interventions
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interprofessional team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and Crisis Prevention Intervention
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• 1 year of prior travel emergency department experience
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG proficiency, NIH Stroke Scale competency
