Travel ED RN in California

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Burbank, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves all emergency diagnoses across neonatal to geriatric patients, with 1:4 ratios and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and triage emergency patients across all age groups
• Monitor cardiac status and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer IV medications, sedatives and vasopressors
• Support patients on BiPAP, CPAP and mechanical ventilation
• Manage central lines, isolation precautions and complex multisystem conditions
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy and other support teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with ventilated patients, central lines, IV sedation, dysrhythmia management and ABG interpretation
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
