About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in an acute care hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts on a 26-week contract. The unit is a Level 1 trauma center with Epic charting, a behavioral health suite and a fast-track area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage patients with urgent and emergent needs
  • Assess, stabilize and prioritize trauma cases
  • Administer medications and ordered treatments
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
  • Document care and responses in Epic
  • Coordinate care with providers and support staff
  • Assist with behavioral health and fast-track patients

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
  • Epic charting experience
  • Level 1 trauma experience
