Travel ED RN in Athens, GA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in the emergency room on a 13-week contract in Athens, Georgia.

• Triage patients and prioritize emergency care
• Assess acute symptoms and monitor status
• Administer medications, fluids, and ordered treatments
• Start IV access and support resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
• Document findings and educate patients and families
• Collect specimens and prepare patients for testing

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department assessment and documentation skills
• IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and resuscitation support skills
• Patient education and teamwork skills
