Travel Dialysis RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Dialysis Registered Nurse will provide apheresis and photopheresis care in an acute care hospital unit in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit serves patients with GVHD, BO and CTCL, uses Cerner charting and CellEx equipment, and works at 1:1 ratios.

• Provide therapeutic apheresis and photopheresis care
• Perform plasma exchange and red blood cell exchange procedures
• Manage vascular access through AV fistula, AV graft and central lines
• Prime blood, return blood and support post-procedure care
• Monitor patient status and dysrhythmias during treatment
• Document care in Cerner and follow infection control practices

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of apheresis or dialysis experience and prior travel experience
• Cerner charting experience and 1:1 patient ratio experience
• AV fistula, AV graft and tunneled or non-tunneled catheter cannulation
• Therapeutic plasma exchange, red blood cell exchange, blood prime, blood return, infection control and dysrhythmia management

• Acute care inpatient dialysis experience
• Chronic outpatient dialysis experience
• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
