Travel CVOR RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist with cardiac and thoracic surgical cases in a hospital, for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit supports open and minimally invasive procedures, including advanced support cases such as ECMO.

• Assist with cardiac bypass cases and other complex cardiovascular procedures
• Prepare the sterile field and support scrubbing duties in the operating room
• Support surgeons during valve, aortic, thoracic, and minimally invasive cases
• Assist with procedures involving ECMO and pericardial window
• Maintain safe, efficient workflow during cardiovascular surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to support case readiness and turnover

• Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• BLS certification
• Current cardiovascular operating room experience
• Ability to scrub cardiac cases requiring bypass
• Experience with thoracic and minimally invasive surgical procedures
