Travel CVOR RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will support cardiac surgery in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves adults, uses Epic, and works with 1:1 ratios in a teaching hospital.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with scrub support during CABG, valve, MAZE, and transplant cases
• Maintain a sterile field and support universal protocol checks
• Monitor cardiac equipment and respond to intraoperative needs
• Handle specimens and blood products according to procedure requirements
• Coordinate with the surgical team for adult cardiac cases

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Cardiac scrub experience with CABG, valve, MAZE, transplant, blood products, and specimen handling
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Experience with atherectomy, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, hybrid OR, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, and LVAD/RVAD cases
