Travel CVOR RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will support pediatric cardiac operating room care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit has 8 operating rooms, uses Meditech and CPN charting, and maintains 1:1 patient care.

• Manage perioperative care for pediatric cardiac and open heart patients
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastic, and cardiac cases
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Prepare the operating room and support case setup and turnover
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care and communicate with the care team

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1-year current hospital pediatric CVOR Registered Nurse experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac and open heart surgery experience

• Pediatrics experience
• CVOR and cardiac operating room experience
• Ability to function in multiple service lines
