Travel CVOR RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative care for pediatric cardiac cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit has 8 operating rooms, about 25 staff members, 1:1 patient ratios, and uses Meditech and CPN. Cardiac and open heart care are part of the service mix.

• Manage pediatric operating room care for cardiac and open heart cases
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastic, and cardiac procedures
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care
• Prepare the operating room and support safe case flow
• Collaborate with anesthesia, charge RN, and surgical staff

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital pediatric CVOR Registered Nurse experience
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Cardiac and open heart surgery experience

• Pediatrics experience
• CVOR and cardiac experience
• Ability to function across multiple service lines
