Travel CVICU RN in Bloomington, IN

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide care for adults and geriatrics in a mixed-acuity unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bloomington, Indiana. The unit averages about 30 patients, uses Cerner charting, and accepts first-time travelers.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage post-cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Maintain arterial, central, and PICC lines
• Provide care for ventilated patients
• Assist with blood product administration and cardiac procedures

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of cardiac critical care experience
• Arterial line, central line, PICC, and pulmonary artery line monitoring; dysrhythmia interpretation; cardiac and vasoactive drip titration

• NIHSS
• Intra-aortic balloon pump support and sheath removal
• Ventilator management and Cerner charting experience
• Previous charge experience
