Travel CT Tech in Wichita, KS

A Travel Computed Tomography Technologist will perform diagnostic CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit serves mostly adult ED patients with some pediatric scans and adult inpatient studies, and uses Meditech and FUJI Synapse.

• Perform CT imaging studies for emergency, inpatient, and stroke patients
• Assist with CTA and other contrast studies as ordered
• Support head, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging workflows
• Monitor image quality and follow department protocols
• Coordinate with ED and other departments for timely imaging
• Help cover X-ray work when needed and able
• Work independently and solve workflow issues in a busy or slow setting

• 6 months of CT Tech experience
• ARRT certification in computed tomography
• Kansas radiologic technologist license

• Siemens scanner experience
• 2 to 3 years of CT experience
• Cross-training in X-ray support
• Independent problem-solving skills
